Pros: I will say that rent is good. For a dual master for under 1100, it was a good place. The floorplan was good, spacious, and had good room in the kitchen whch made a nice bar area.

Cons: Just pray that nothing goes wrong with the apartment and you have to deal with management on ANYTHING. They are horribly incompetent.

Things were broken on moving in that hadn't been fixed a year and a half later despite numerous complaints and written requests to the office. Our dishwasher didn't work properly, the light fixture in the bathroom burned out and they would not order a replacement bulb (Trust me, I looked everywhere, it was a special order bulb you could't get at Home Depot), drawers were broken, and all the outlets were loose and moving to the point of losing power.

We tried for three months to get management to fix the lights, dishwasher , drawers, and outlets. Finally I got fed up and replaced fixtures and all the outlets at my own cost. Management had a huge problem with that because their own people didn't do the work.

In summer, our air conditioner broke and it took them three weeks to get someone out there to even look at it despite daily complaints. They finally got someone out there when we threatened to pay the cost to get it fixed ourselves and deduct it from our rent payment.

If you have any mantainance issues the only way you're going to get them solved is to threaten to deduct repairs from the rent if they won't do anything.

My car was broken into three times in my designated parking spot and stolen once. They claim to have security there, but the only time I would ever see him was when we would smoke a hooka on our porch and within 30 seconds he'd be there asking if it was weed.

If you keep to yourself and take public transportation it can be a decent place to live, but all the cons don't make up for it. I'm still fighting them to get my security deposit back because they're claiming stuff that was broken on moving in was broken by us.

Gross. Roaches, rats, mice, ants, pitbulls, gang bangers, prostitutes, drunk manager, fat lazy office staff, maintenance tries to hit on you and wont fix ----. mold, leaking sewage, break ins, car theft, old, broken stairs, elevators, fire alarms all hours of the day night. ICE raids. hell on earth. Slum lords.

Totally Agree on all you have mentioned. This place is a total disaster. Management sucks. They are mean, & lazy; security is never there. Fire alarms are on & no one bothers to shut them off it can go on for an hour. I think it is a total disaster.
