We were sure to leave our apartment cleaner than we got it (an entire day of scrubbing floor to ceiling, literally) but still were denied most of our deposit back. Deposit put down for clicker to open the gate was never returned, they claimed they already gave it back, but we had no paperwork to disprove that. They were friendly when showing the apartment, then turned into different people once we signed the lease. Grouchy, unfriendly and unhelpfull. The security was useless. Neighbors in screaming fights with breaking beer bottles was not enough of a problem to bring out the security, even after multiple calls from multiple neighbors. I never ever felt safe walking from my apartment to my car.
