First lets say your looking for a place to live thats nice and not exspensive. Well so were we, thats when we found this place. When we came they were nice and friendly and answered our questions and even said its nice and quite. Then we moved in and all this stopped. First thing we noticed to change was the quite, and that means arguing neighbors and loud music and cars and drunk kids at night. Then when we complained nothing happened. Then our car was broken into along with about 20 other cars. Windows were broken and car stereos were stolen. We asked about security and honestly he comes through once about at 7, trust me i stayed up one night to check and he never came at night. Even though they told us he comes through more than once around these certain times, well if this was true he would have been here when they broke into the cars. Then the parking is small and not enough for all tenates. So if you have more than one car chances are you will have to park on the street outside the complex. We paid for gate openers, which we never need because half the time the gates are broken. The apartments dont have enough space or storage for even the smallest things. When we moved in our carpets were stained. It has a a/c which is in the living room which you cannot use long because it stops working and it only keeps the living room cool at about feet level. Police laugh at this place and have been called here several times for crime and other problems. This lovely complex also had a fire which destroyed two apartments, right next to us. Guess what, the fire alarms didnt work, and when the manager finally came over where the fire was, she didnt make sure the tenates were safe, she said were is my husband, who lives on the other side of the complex away from the fire. I tryed to complain to G.W. Williams the property owners of the complex and they said they dont have any el norte villas, and would not let me speak to the owner. They said they would have him call me, which its been a year and honestly no call. Your washer dryer can only be used on the smallest loads. If you use the a/c your electric bill is so high and you dont even get air. The heaters dont work well and they raise your bill, even though they cut off after about a minute of use. The good thing though is the maintance man he always comes to fix things. I can sit here and go on but the thing i want you to understand is please dont live here its not good for you. Or safe even with there new carport lights. Thanks and I hope this helps elimate a bad choice in apartments.
