This apartment complex looks great on the outside and is pretty well maintained inside, with the exception of the really old appliances they provide. The appliances barely function and are probably the ones that were put in when the apartment complex was built in the 80's. The pool is nice but always had 'stuff' in it from all of the surrounding eucalyptus trees. The maintenance crew was friendly and said hello when they were out and about and passing by. When it comes to everyday living don't let looks be deceiving though. We had a constant problem with noise . . from our upstairs neighbors to the surrounding apartments, there was constant noise. We had people partying at all hours of the night and any day of the week. People also liked to run through the apartment complex screaming and hollering at 2 and 3 in the morning. When it came to the upstairs neighbors, I sometimes wondered if the floor was even safe for them to be walking on - I heard them constantly moving around, knew their every footstep, and thought our ceiling was caving in every time they dropped something on the floor. They had some gym equipment and a treadmill that they used at oh-god hours of the night too. Believe me, we heard them using that too. I think it is pretty sad that one of the only good thing I really have to say about this complex is that the mail came at the same time everyday. But, when you went to check the mail you had to watch out for dog poo because of people who didn't clean up from their dogs. There were other isolated incidents that came with the specific location of our apartment but aside from that, I don't think i could recommend this apartment complex to anyone unless you were a college student and were going to be contributing to the 'all hours of the night' noise. It may be a bit more inexpensive than others around but save yourself the hassle and spend those few extra bucks for a better quality of living.
