first time ive been in an apartment so i do have much for comparision. when it rains, it FLOODS! so plan on having soggy feet for the day because for most apartments, there is no way of avoiding very large and deep puddles throughout the complex.
parking is fine when the occupancy is low and if you dont have more than one vehicle but when it starts filling up beware. first the "visitor" parking fills, followed by the office spaces. then you are ---- out of luck. plan on having your car broken into or towed. (having your car broken into is cheaper!) just had my car towed. $360. the tow truck man said that they make sweeps 24/7 through the complex along with carls jr next door and motel 6 across the street if you were planning on parking there instead. the only other choice is parking at the swap meet. might as well leave your keys hanging from the door!
laundry is another story. not enough washers/dryers to match the amount of people living here. and hopefully most of them are working properly. so plan on waiting long or literally having a fist fight over them like i once had to do.
by the way my actual apartment has been fine. its just the other mess ive had to deal with
