I would NEVER move back into hidden cove or Recommend it to anyone I know

My fiance and had an 8 month lease with hidden cove from May 2006 - Feb 2007, this was the very first apartment we lived in and we had several problems while living there. Our bath room door would not close unless we slammed it I notified the management so something could be done about it and they made me and appointment for noon the next day. I waited around all day for them to show up and they never did. I called management the next day when they opened and the manager told me that they were on their lunch break at noon that was why they were unable to show up and told me very rudely "they do have to eat you know" like I was stupid. I asked why did you schedule the appointment at their lunch break she was unable say anything and told me the next time they could be out to fix it was in a week.
While waiting for our door the be fixed we received a noise complaint notice stating that we were to loud, that we were stomping around and playing loud music and we could not due so after 10:30pm. My fiance and I were always in bed between 8:30-10:00pm and we never played music during the day or night. I took the notice into the office and told her the only loud thing we did was slam and bathroom door to go to the bathroom because that was the only way it would close. finally the door got fixed.
Two months before our lease was up I found a not on the door saying " It has come to the attention of the management that we were keeping a cat and would have to pay the $350 pet deposit as well as the 25 or 35 dollar pet rent. We do not have a cat, so I took the note into the office a month before we were going to move out and told them we did not have a cat and turned in our 30 day notice.
My mother and I cleaned the apartment for 2 days, we cleaned it spotless we scrubbed the frig. and bathroom with baking soda, steam cleaned and floors and everything it looked better then when we moved in and I received $11 dollars from our deposit.
I would never live there again let alone have any of me friends or family move in there. Thank you for reading my complaint and everyone else's.

Although it sucks that so many others have had problems, I am glad to see that it wasn't "me" like someone suggested in another review - the management here is RUDE!!! Many others have had problems with this management team. I hope future renters read these comments before moving in here.
