I have live here for over 6 years. The current management company has been here for close to 3 years. I'm writing this because I can't believe what a difference a management company can make on a property. I was a here through 3 different management companies and let me tell you my experiences. The first 2 management companies were ok. What this means is that if I needed some maintenance in my apartment they would respond but sometimes it took 2 to 3 weeks and most of the time the problem would get repaired. But there were times that they wouldn't repair things. Like I remember when I had broke or cracked one of my outlet covers in my living room. I called them to come and fix it and they said it would be my responsiblility. Certainlty I would have paid for the $.15 item, but I was hoping they would help a 45 year old women with no maintenance knowledge to install the cover. No LUCK.
But since then the property sold and we have had another management company come in since 2001. I was wondering if the property was going to go down hill. I was wrong. The managment and owner had spruced up the place making where I live so enjoyable. They have remodeled many of the interiors for the past 2 years. I hadn't moved so they didnt remodel mine. But the other day I found out that they had been installing microwaves in the apartments. So I called the manager and asked if I could have one. I also gave him a list of some other things I would like them to look at while they were in my apartment. A week passed and I had a new microwave, new linoleum in my kitchen and bath, new toilet (mine was old), and two new light fixtures. I was amazed at the effort our manager and maintenance place on my apartment to make me happy. And yes they fixed the outlet cover I broke 2 years ago.
I will probably never move.
