it's a lousy place, read my review

Years at this apartment: 1995 - 2002
I lived there for 71/2 years. I wanted to move immediately, but could not due the HUD rules of my low income status. When that changed in Jan 2002 I MOVED OUT OF THAT TERRIBLE PLACE. The buildings on the bottom of hills frequently flood with sewer back up. They did not maintain the underground pipe systems, which also crated a mold problem in many apartments. They NEVER accepted responsibility for this. Many of us became ill. At this time, spring 2002, they are "remodeling". Actually, they are redoing the apartments to comabt the mold and sewer problems they claim don't exist. They are not family friendly. In Jan of 2002 they forbid kids riding bikes on the complex even on the sidewalk. They said kids could do so "outside the complex." This would be Madison Ave., a very busy four lane commuter road. Good grief, don't move there. Plus, rent was regularly increased, as much as 30% a year. The grounds and lanscaping are kept up immacuately, so the place "looks" good. Don't let that fool you. They are FPI mamagement company, so I would suggest you not rent any property they manage.
