I was one of the first tenants to move here. The apartments are huge. I actually lived in a handicap apartment (2 bedrooms). It is really right next to everything.(home depot, target, all the food places, easy access to down town fairfield..)
The reason I am moving is that in the 2 years I have lived here this is the 3rd management change. I fear my rent will increase and it is really high right now. Even the one bedrooms are high. The new management seems to be making some wonderful changes though. Excellent amenities. The pool, spa and gym are always well maintained.
One downsize is that last year they changed water companies. The new water company (AUM) actually itemizes HOT WATER VERSUS COLD WATER. who does that' So I am thinking how can I be paying a PG&E bill (supposedly based on a water heater ussage) and also be paying $65.00 for water' How the heck can you "break down hot and cold water'" (what next you gonna charge me for WARM WATER)"
It is pretty safe though. I am glad the new management has taken the safety of the units seriously. Although the guard seems to like to watch television every night an use their gym facilities, the area is very well lit.
My unit faces the street so I get a really nice breeze. I would continue living here but the rent is just to overpriced (lets face it this is not vacaville).
You get assigned parking and I will miss the washer and dryer units included in the price.
