I lived at the Pointe Apartments in Fairfield CA for five months.

When I moved they couldn't find anything to clean but they are taking $300.

of my deposit money because they say the carpet is worn and needs to be replaced.

Why am I paying $300.

so they can replace the carpet after only living there for five months' It's ridiculous and a rip off.

Others have had trouble getting their deposits returned and have been blamed for broken windows and other miscellanous stuff they didn't do.

I believe the Point Apartments in Fairfield intends to keep as much of your deposit as they can when you move out and will make up reasons to do that.

It's a total rip off and I'd like anyone who feels the same way to write so we can start a class action lawsuit against them.

No, I was NOT told and it was NOT determined there was pet damage during the initial walk through. A tenant is NOT present during the final walk through and they make that clear. It was only after I left and had no recourse that they only returned a portion of my deposit claiming pet damage. That is simply not true and I'm more convinced than ever these people want to keep your deposit.

Resident was aware charges would be assessed for pet damage as she was present during the final walk through and personally shown the damages. We would NEVER deny a resident the option of being present during an inspection. If you feel this strongly I would recommend contacting us directly or contact Woodmont Real Estate Services in Sacramento.
