Too Expensive - Your Deposit is a Gift to the Complex

I've lived in these apartments for the last six months on a six month lease. Now they want to raise my rent by $50, without cause. The ammenities are nice, but I didn't use any of them. They took most of my deposit, allegedly for cleaning, even after I cleaned the apartment with paid help. I am former military and know how to clean.
So, rent from this complex if you have extra money to throw away. There are other complexes in the area, that are less expensive and pay for water.
