Thank God the Nightmare is OVER!!!!

Wow, I was so suckered in by this place. I am active duty military, and even the base recommended it...until now.
The "management" is a 20 something year old who know came off as being the best friend type, sending messages through myspace and the what. Then she became the total b****. Completely unprofessional!!! My final straw came when they sent me a notice that I had over paid my rent by some 150 dollars. That was on Tuesday. Friday I came home and found an eviction notice on my door. Apparently, they returned the cashier's check that my bank had sent them for my rent. A CASHIER'S CHECK!!! And not only that, this was on the 15th, two weeks after rent is due. And while I was trying to work out this with the "manager" she had one of her best friends in the office with her, like it was nothing. How unprofessional!!!
There is no assigned parking here, which is stupid. There are enough covered parking spots on the property to assign each house at least one. But seeing as how most apartments are "multi vehicle" they choose not to. What a crock of bull. All other complex's assign parking. And you only get one gate key, other wise it is an extra 50 dollars. Not that you need it because the gate code is known through out the area.
If you don't live on the top floor, pray that your upstairs neighbors don't have kids. Mine did, and from sun up to way past sun down, all you heard was the "patter of little feet". It last way up until after ten or eleven at night, and when I went to the office to make a complaint, I was told I would have to deal with it.
And don't think about having a private conversation in your apartment. The walls are thin to say the least. I could be in my bedroom and hear my neighbors talking, in normal voice, in theirs.
Also plan to pay out for heating and cooling because the doors and windows are not properly sealed. No need to complain because, of course, there is nothing management can do about it.
For the amount of rent you pay for this place, you can find something better. In fact, I am paying less money now, getting better service, a bigger apartment, and a better location. Not worth it unless you want to live in a nightmare for a year.
