When we first moved in to the Fairmont, it was the nicest apartment avaiable in Folsom. We got a great deal on our one bedroom, and we were happy with the community as well as the staff. When we upgraded to the two bedroom, our experience started to go down hill. We found mold all over the outside of the buildings (although we moved out 6 months ago so they may have begun fixing that), we had a hard time getting them to come out to repair our sink, the countertop had been burned by a pot so they had glued a cutting board over the top of it (which happened to be in a really akward spot). All in all, when we went to move out for good, they argued with us about the spots on the carpet (which had been noted on the check in list), as well as other minute details. The icing on the cake though, was when they charged us for the carpet cleaning, even though the manager had admitted to us when we moved in that they had failed to clean the carpets. Overall, the staff was nice, but I was disppointed with them at the end. The price was a bit high for what they offered. We are now looking for an apartment again in the Folsom area and I doubt we will be moving back to the Fairmont, as we have found that the Waterford offers much nicer apartments for about the same price.
