I chose this complex as it looks very impressive as you drive up, and the area surrounding the rental office is kept up very nicely. Another reason I went with Folsom Ranch Apt's is it's proximity to Old Folsom, and it was a short commute to work. Here's where it goes downhill. When I first moved in there was some touch up painting that needed to be done. It took about 6 weeks before their maintenance people took care of this (after numerous phone calls). Because my unit is downstairs the common area right outside of my front door is a mess. Lots of cobwebs and leaves. It was cleaned once, but only because I brought it to managements attention many times. Since that one cleaning (a few months ago) it hasn't been touched again. The laundry room is also poorly maintained. I lose my money in their machines on a regular basis. I just received a lease renewal notice indicating the my 6 month lease is almost up. After only 6 months they are raising my rent $25- per month. Quite honestly there is nothing special about this complex to warrant the increase. Other apt's in the area are more expensive, but they offer much nicer, and often newer amenities. I wish that I had looked at more apt's prior to chosing Folsom Ranch, but I have since found a complex that offers a much nicer unit for the same price. This unit I'm moving to is larger, newer, and has a washer and dryer in the unit, and it's the same price as my unit at Folsom Ranch. My recommendation is to look further before chosing Folsom Ranch Apartments.
