I lived there for 4 months of 2004. It was the first time I was on my own and the place seemed to be in a good location with decent rent. I now wish I had picked anywhere else to live. I lived in the lower section where my aparement was on the bottom. After a month I had MOLD growing around every window, and below my sinks. The water stayed hot for 10 minutes in the shower. I alerted maintance staff to this, and they stuck a bottle cap over the drainage hole on the water heater and said that should fix that. Are they complete morons' My car got broken into 3 times (probably because the complex is isolated). The windows are cheep and noise passes right through them, including at 7 am when the lawn crew is blowing and mowing right outside. After the 3rd time my car was brokwn into I demanded they break my lease, and after numerious talks, they finally agreed (brandy and holly in the office are they worst people to deal with). I paid a $400 dollar deposit and they sent me a bill for $800. They used obviously fake receipts to justify the cost. I went into the office to discuss this, and brandy yelled at me and said she didn't have to help me. I told her I was not paying the bogus charges and left. I got a lawyer involved and had a letter drafted to officialy mail to them, but a few days later I received a check from them for $40. (they ended up charging me $360!!) I had a very bad experence here, and after reading the other reviews it seems very common. Holly and Brandy were horrible to deal with. I wouldn't even recommend this place if you were desperate, not only will they try and take advantage of you, but your living conditions are downright dangerous to your health.
