Well Judy In The Woods I am Happy to hear that you have such a great experience at Folsom Ranch But I think you have no right to talk about the people who have posted negative reviews. Why are they in the wrong' because they were screwed over somehow, I know I was And I don't appreciate you calling us complainers I had no problem till I moved out then the girl in the office I signed papers with lied to me about moving out early and told me I would have no extra charge because I was moving out at the end of my lease then they tryed to keep almost all of my deposit which was $1200.00. they did realize they were in the WRONG once I decided to contact a lawyer, then they wanted to work with me instead of ignoring my phone calls. So if they are such great people why did I get my money back. oh wait I think it was because they realized they lied to me, and once I decided to get legal help they realized they could not screw me over. So maybe you should put yourself in other peoples shoes before you open your mouth! that's all.

I agree with you on that one. Everyone's experience is different and people that are all happy go lucky about crappy living conditions and businesses, especially landlords, taking advantage of their tennants is stupid and blind. Landlords have handbooks and websites on how to rip off tennants because they think they are being ripped off because they have to spend a little of their own money for upkeep on THEIR PROPERTY. It is pure GREED, but that is why they are landlords--they are not there to help people, but to make money off of them. So yeah, the tennant is usually right. My parents were landlords for twenty years and they had some shabby tennants, but they always gave back the deposit to the tennants. The amount of rent far out weighed the amount of the cost of repairs my dad had to do (carpet clean, repair or replace; paint; update appliances, repair) when the tennant left. No matter how many times he gave the full deposit back as long as the tennant stayed more than three months he still made a profit from them. Landlords/Corporations are the biggest crooks. They are charging for sewer and water now. So in other words we are paying to keep their property looking beautiful. We are paying not only rent for their profit, but extra costs that are usually included in rent. They are finding ways to charge for every little detail so they can sit back with their legs up and watch their bank accounts get bigger with NO EXTRA EFFORT ON THEIR PART. Since tennants don't stick together this is how landlords get away with it. When tennants don't sue to get their deposit back they make it harder and harder for the next person to get theirs back.
