I found this apartment through rent.com, view the floor plan online and had my girlfriend drive 2 hours out to Folsom to drop off my deposit check due to final week and was not able to make it. When she got there, the office did not open until 9:00 am when it clearly states on rent.com and For Rent magazine that they are open from 8-5 (M-F). She had to wait for an hour just to drop off my application and the deposit check. That was 2 1/2 weeks ago and still till this day I have not yet been approved. It took them 4 days just to pull up my credit report, which my credit was clearly not an issue. Every time I called to find out what was going on, ------- (one of the leasing agent) would lie that she can't get a hold of my current landlord. When the truth is that she did got a hold of my landlord and my landlord faxed her everything she had requested. I got absolutely no update from ------- throughout the 2 1/2 weeks.... I was the one that had to constantly call her just to get NO update.


I don't know if she was too dumb to operate the fax machine or just plain forgetful and lazy, because my landlord faxed her everything she requested. My landlord faxed ------- 3 times (I was there in the office when my landlord faxed her)!! After 2 weeks of frustrating my landlord and I, my landlord called ------- for the 4th times (my landlord had her on speaker phone) giving her the same old info for the past 2 1/2 weeks. Finally ------- said that I was approved and that they don't need anything else.

Well, because she was so irresponsible, I decided to call her again Monday to make sure that everything was set for my move-in date, she then told me that I was not yet approved and that she's waiting for her manager to get back from vacation on Tuesday to look over the paperwork. She will have her manager e-mail me on Tuesday to update me, well guess what' NO e-mail......

It is now Wednesday, so I decided to drive 2 hours to Folsom this afternoon to pick up my deposit check. And guess what ------- said' "We're still waiting on some paperwork from your landlord". She is the most ditzy, idiotic, unprofessional, person I have ever known.

I found another apartment today. The staff were very professional. My landlord and I got so much headache from this -------, but I am glad that I will not be living there and have to put up with more of their stupidity.
