Things would have been alright BUT when I moved out, I cleaned that thing from top to bottom; I even rented a carpet cleaner! In my opinion, the apartment looked nicer AFTER I vacated than the day I moved in. I turned in my keys the day before but realize I forgot something at the place. So the next day I visited to pick them up, there were people in there WITH CARPET CLEANERS, PAINT AND A CLEANING LADY TO 'CLEAN' THINGS. They said it wasn't sanitary for the new tennants'! I'M O.C.D!!!! IF THERE WERE EVEN A SPEC OF DIRT ON THE FLOOR, I COULD SMELL IT A MILE AWAY. They said, it took a total of 6.5 man hours to clean everything up! I lost more than half my deposit and I didn't find what I came back for.
Their management WILL lie to you straight to you face and deny it later; not to mention steal from you.

WOW...the EXACT thing happened to me!!!! When I moved out, I moved out 5 days before I was to, so I could make sure it was Clean as a wistle, so I could get all my deposit back. I Cleaned that Apt so good that you could eat off the floors. I also hired a Carpet Cleaning company and they told me when they got there that my carpet was in such good shape I did not even need it cleaned, but I had it done anyways....I wanted to guarentee my Deposit. I waited 2 weeks, then called them and asked were my deposit was. She told me that they had to clean it for 6.5 hours, re paint the whole apt and put in ALL NEW carpet, and instead of me getting my $800.00 deposit back, I owed them $1,200....$400 MORE THEN MY DEPOSIT!!!!! I was so mad that I almost called the police. I even paid the carpet cleaners to go back to the apt manager and tell her that the carpet was in perfet condition, when I moved out. They told the Carpet cleaners that they were not on the lease so they could not talk to them about it, and to leave. THIS IS THE WORST APT I HAVE EVER LIVED IN. We are not the only ones this has happened to. If you want to go in with me on a lawsuite...please respond to this. I am sure we can get our money back and there are plenty of people on here with the same complaint about these Apt.

YOU BOTH NEED TO TAKE THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT!!! IT IS WORTH THE EFFORT ESPECIALLY IF YOU TOOK PICS ON YOUR WAY OUT!!! TACK ON EVERYTHING IT TAKES TO COVER YOUR COSTS OF HAVING TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK INCLUDING GAS AND MILEAGE TO AND FROM THE COURT HOUSE!! IF MORE TENNANTS STOOD UP TO APARTMENT COMPLEXES AND SUED THEY WOULDN'T GET AWAY WITH KEEPING DEPOSITS--THEY KNOW THE SYSTEM AND THE TRICKS OF HOW TO KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT--YES, THEY KNOW THAT YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO HIRE A CLEANING CREW AND PAINTERS, THEY KNOW THAT YOU DON'T WANT TO OVERLAP RENT DAYS AND THAT YOU ONLY HAVE ABOUT A DAY OR SO TO CLEAN YOUR PLACE BY YOURSELF, THEY ALSO KNOW WHERE AND HOW MANY HOURS YOU WORK AND THEY ARE BETTING THAT YOU WILL BE TO LAZY TO TAKE THEM TO SMALL CLAIMS FOR A DEDUCTION OF ALL OF YOUR DEPOSIT OR EVEN $20. OF IT. SO FOLLOW THROUGH AND TAKE PICS AND SUE!!!
