I lived in these apartments for about 8 months. I first lived in a ground level apartment and had to deal with lots of pest problems. Every time it rained, there will be scorpions, frogs, millipedes, snails and spiders all over the house. I complained several times to the office staff but everything fell on deaf ears. I wanted to move out but they would not let me break the lease. They let me move to another apartment within the community. But I had to sign a new six months lease and had to pay the security deposit again. I did not get back my original security deposit either. Their maintenance response was pathetic and I decided to move out after 8 months of painful living in Iron Point. Finally when I moved I cleaned the apartment for 2 days so they wouldnt charge me anything extra over my dual deposits. But they did charge me an extra $150 over my dual deposit. When I asked them for an explanation, they sent my account to a debt collecting agency that tarnished my credit history. All this for speaking up!!! If you need peace of mind DONT CHOOSE THIS COMMUNITY.

To add to all these things, my car was VANDALIZED once and when I informed the apt. office about it all I heard was "Sorry to hear that". They didnt even put it on their records.

Also, even though the community is gated, the bigger gates are open from 6am to 6pm and the small gates are always open. So any passer-by can walk into the community. Also the gate code is practically known to everybody in Folsom.

THIS IS A MISERABLE COMMUNITY TO LIVE IN FOR ALL PRACTICAL REASONS.

I too had my car vandalized. When I reported it to the manager, her only comment was " you should be parking in your garage " I hate it here. Shoddy workmanship and unable to get leaky faucets fixed. Neighbors are noisy and the manager treats me like I am just a chronic complainer.
