I have been here for two months now and it has been a nightmare.
The upstairs neighbors are so noisy that I have to leave my tv and fan on to drown out the noise, day and night. My complaints to the manager fall on deaf ears, and she makes me feel that she thinks of me as just " another complainer "....
Shoddy repairs, and I have been waiting two months for my faucets to be repaired or replaced. Water sprays everywhere when I turn the faucets on. Everytime I mention it the the manager her response is always, " parts are on back order "....The shower head leaks water constantly and no response from management.
Water bill has gone up very high in just two months, could it be all the leaks they are not taking care of '''''' I live alone in a one BR one Bath apt and my last fair share of the water bill was over $60 for one month.....how come so high '
When I moved in, I had to clean the apartment as there was dust and actual caked on dirt on the door casings, window sills, and window blinds. I had to clean and bleach the medicine cabinet it was so dirty. Top of frig was a real mess, looked like it had not been cleaned in two years. I had to clean and bleach all the cabinets, I could not put my dishes in that mess.
NO SECURITY....And no one to call....my car was vandalized the first week I was here. Local police would not investigate because they considered this private property. AND when I told management about it, her response was, " Well you should be parking your car in the garage " The manager did not seem to care at all that someone was vandalizing cars at this complex. I asked her if anyone else had damage to cars and she said she did not know of any. After speaking with other neighbors, It seems that vandalism is not so unusual here. Others have had their cars vandalized and items stolen off their patios. I had to pay $3500 to have my car repaired. They have no security ppl to call at night when the office is closed.
I am sorry that I signed a year lease, THIS IS GOING TO BE A VERY LONG YEAR....AND I AM GETTING OUT OF HERE AS SOON AS MY LEASE IS UP..

Well......UPDATE.........
It was sooo bad at this place that I moved and broke my lease. I sent letters to both local management and the corporation letting them know of my decision and why. I got NO response from either. So I let them know that I was moving and breaking my lease. I JUST COULD NOT STAND IT ANYMORE. I was loosing sleep which affected my job and my sense of well being. My doctor had me on anxiety and depression meds. After being out of there for just 4 months now, I am off all meds and enjoying my new quiet, safe apartment.
