I've lived at the Overlook for 13 months. It's a great apartment if you have a dog. There is plenty of dog areas with poop bags, and lots of trails surrounding the complex. The grounds are surrounded by creeks and trees, so some bugs can be expected-but not too bad. The office staff is super until you get the keys, then they can be a little rude. Parking can be tight, but since I lived right by the main street, it wasn't too bad. If you're further back in the complex though, I could see it being a problem. Maintenance can be a little sluggish to fix problem, but eventually get around to it. The biggest downfall to this complex is the utilities-you have to pay for everything....gas, electric, water, sewer, and garbage. Now gas, electric, and water are assumable, but what apartment charges residents for sewer and garbage' Anyways, If I were staying in Folsom, I would definately continue my stay here, but unfortunately it's time to move on.
