When we first moved in everything seemed great. There were a few more bugs than i would like, but what do you expect in an older apartment in a park like setting.
Half way through my lease managment changed and so did the whole experience.
We pay a lot of money to live in these apartments and cant even rely on everything working in the apartment. We have complained about electrical problems since the bigining. finally a wire in the apartment shorted out shutting down our kitchen for four days before managment decidied to fix it. I dont know, can anyone say FIRE HAZARD'!'!
Parking is horrible, we pay for covered parking and a garage, but we cant leave at night without someone stealing our spot, happens a lot in our area, all tenats complain yet management does nothing. Screaming kids, barking dogs, and cats runing all over the place. The only thing missing from this place is some old shoes hanging from a telephone line.
Overall if you want to live in the ghetto, go for it. after all our problems, we are paying to break our lease and moving out within the month.

Might have escaped your notice but there is a newer phase that isn't buggy and a fire hazard. Granted it's not park-like as in the older phase but if nature bugs ya then move away. I lived here in the new phase and loved it. Well except for hiking up to the 3rd floor loaded with groceries, that wasn't fun. But it was my own choice to live on top so I can't complain. No regrets living here, I'd do it again if work moved me back to this area. Parking IS a problem, I agree with you there. Not so bad in the new section but there weren't empty spots. I asked mgmt if I could change my parking spot when someone vacated an excellent one AND THEY LET ME. That's cool management in my books.
