The Overlook is a joke. They can't even show up for court. I guess they don't want to explain the illegal charges they are trying to collect. How come there are so many complaints but no one is willing to stand up for their rights' Are you all just paying these charges' You know they are not legal. Just call the fair housing and they will tell you if you have a chance. The BBB is useless, I filed and got no where. COME ON EVERYONE, FILE IN SMALL CLAIMS.

Start with getting ALL paperwork, lease, receipts, photos, anything against them. There are no witnesses allowed in small claims or lawyers. I filed online for $40.00. When you go to court, bring copies of everything to give to the judge. Be very organized. You can also go to the carol miller justice center and file. Very Easy. Well worth it though. Most likely if someone does show, it will be Karen from the office. Don't speak to her when you present your case. Talk only to the judge. Again, read the lease carefully and know what you are talking about before you file. Good Luck and keep me informed.

WOO HOO!! I am glad to hear things went well!! We are taking them to court also but we are kinda clueless where to start, when/how to file, etc. Any tips??
