I realize it has been a few years since I lived in this community but it was truly a wonderful experience for me. I never had a parking problem because I lived in the one bedroom apartment area and there were a lot of single residents with only one vehicle. It was great but a friend of mine in the 2 and 3 bedroom apartment area complained all the time due to more than one vehicle per apartment. I had two large dogs while I lived here and the grounds were gorgeous. Mostly I used the path and I still miss the late night walks with my pets. A few times I saw deer in the late fall. In the 4 years I lived there they never raised my rent until 2006 and I moved promptly instead of renewing my lease because the rent increase was significant. If not for this fact I would probably still be living there today. I miss the safe and wholesome environment of Folsom. With the economy/gas prices and the commute to my job in West Sacramento it's just not possible for me to move back. Once my toilet cracked and was leaking water all over the bathroom. Luckily I was home and shut the water valve off. The maintenance staff corrected the problem immediately. I'd say from that first phone call until my toilet was replaced took less than 20 minutes.

Sounds like you weren't happy enough with living there to pay "fair market value" for the place.
