Do not rent from them From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/27/2001 Years at this apartment: 1998 - 1999   We had problems living here. We had mice in our apartment for a couple months. They put tar on the parking area of the complex. The only way to get to our apartment was to walk across the tarred area. So naturally we tracked the tar into our carpets. When we moved out they charged us for carpet cleaning because there was one tiny spot that had tar on it. They also tried to charge us for painting after we touched up their cheap paint. The maintenance guy said he would touch up the few spots we missed. We had to fight them tooth and nail to have them give us a check for the painting they tried charging us. I spilled water once on the wall and the paint started to come off the wall. We bought a steam vac to clean the carpets and they said that the carpets had to be cleaned professionally. I asked them where did we sign a paper that said that. They got the paperwork we signed and realized that it did not say that any where. Rent was going to be raised $100.00 so we moved out. We werent getting a raise of that increase. Too pricey for cheap carpet and paint.
