Attractive complex overall, but rent increases are frequent and high. Rent started at $1140/month when I moved here(Fall 1998). Now it?s $1460/mo (Aug 2001). I was told that if I was a new tennant, my floorplan would be in the neighborhood of $1600/mo. now!

Sadly, this is the "norm" for most apartments in this area (South Orange County, CA). Orange County rent has increased 46% in the past 5 years. The tennis court and two pools are nice. The exercise room is a bit out-dated, but does the job.

Ants are a big problem here in the summertime (as are most dwellings in this area). Management will send out an exterminator to spray the areas if requested, but when asked what they are doing to PROACTIVELY combat the problem, I don?t get a straight answer. Take a trip to any garbage bin in the complex, and you will see literally millions of ants happily going about their business.

The staff is friendly, but not always the most competent. Often, we are given written "warnings" for a few small plants on the balcony, or a tiny wind chime, while other tennants have their balconies and garages piled high with junk. Quite an eye sore indeed.
