I lived at Sonterra from 2000 - 2003, for a total of 2.5 years in the larger 1 bdrm. Overall, I'd have to say my experience with them was positive. The office staff for the most part were great, very friendly. Whenever I had a maintenace request it was completed in a timely manner. And during the whole time I lived there my rent was only increased $20!
Now the not so positive... I had a 2nd floor apartment so I could hear my neighbor upstairs walking around most of the time. And at night when it was quiet I could hear my downstairs neighbor talking or their tv. Soundproofing definitely could be better. Parking is fine if you have a reserved spot (carport, which you pay extra for or a garage). But if not and you got home late good luck finding parking.
And I was also told when I moved out that it didn't matter how clean I left the apt I was still going to be charged.
