I agree that rent was SKY HIGH. The office staff that was working when I first moved in was very kind and helpful. Suddenly, there was a change in staff and the new staff was rude, unhelpful, and suspicious of all residents. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. Grounds are well maintained, including facilities such as the gym, laundry room, etc. Poor lighting at night. Inadequate lighting in front of your front door. Walls were thin, but I was lucky enough to have kind, respectful neighbors. When we moved in the bathroom reeked of mold. This smell could not be eliminated. The mold seemed to have totally infiltrated the particle board cabinets in the bathroom. Refrigerator died, and maintenance was quick to try to fix it and then replace it. No windows in the bathroom. Good size patio area. I paid less rent because I had brown cabinets instead of white. Horrible, unskilled bookkeeper was constantly making mistakes, which we got reprimanded for. Ended up getting tricked into having to stay and pay an extra month's rent because we did not write the management a 30 day move out notice, even though they had our freaking lease with the ending date right there in the office. Maintenance manager is a great guy, very helpful. I feel bad that he works with such a horrible office staff. Smooth move out, but did get a chunk of my deposit taken away for a "late fee" that was the bookkeeper's mistake. Took almost a month to get that refunded. Water bill was insane. Tiny heater in the living room was useless. Parking situation was not too bad.
