I have lived here from Feb.2000 and will stay at least for another 6 months. No regrets. Nice location and nice view - if you have one of the apartments overlooking the lagoon. The rent was raised considerably when the initial 6 months lease was over - by about 12%. This was less than expected because the area market rates had gone up by much more. I did not sign a 2nd lease contract until I asked for a substantial reduction in the monthly rent two months ago. They gave me a nearly 20% rent reduction (market rates had decreased). I have seen some of the other comments from people expecting to get rents reduced when there's is still an existing lease contract. Dream on. Contracts protect both owner and renters. Overall: recommended although a bit expensive. Two parking spots per apartment.
