Don?t rent here because the management is horrible, the noise is laughable, and the rent is high.





We?ve been here four months and were lied to from the beginning. Some were verbal lies and other were promises that aren?t honored. The lies were small granted, but who appreciates being lied to at all'





We were told by one of the staff at Beach Cove that a complex we were going to look at down the street was more expensive than Beach Cove. That was a lie. It was $150 a month less for the same size apartment. We didn?t find that out until later when it was too late.


After deciding to rent here, we asked how much water would cost a month. We were told $15 from someone who had enough experience to know that was way off. Water is about double that price as we were to find out later. This month, we're paying $45 and it's based on what EVERYBODY in the unit is using-not just what's used in your apartment.


We were told we were getting the lowest rent rate possible at Beach Cove. We found out two weeks later that was a lie. New renters were paying $65 less than us-a $650 plus a year savings. We asked to renegotiate since our welcome packet said we could get out of our lease for "any reason" within the 30 days. They had a "Satisfaction Guarantee promised in the packet and again, if we were unhappy for any reason, we can get out of our lease in 30 days. Rather than leave, we just wanted the lower rent. The regional manager said it wasn?t possible.

They do NOT have 24 hour maintainance. We went without a stove and shower because the facility people don?t work weekends.



We had to wait two weeks before the chipped paint containing lead was fixed. We had to call the office TWICE for this same request.





They do not have quarters for the laundry at the front office despite what they say. Every time I?ve called, they don?t have them.





They DO have plenty of ants though. In both the living room and bedroom.



They also DO have poorly insulated apartments as ours attests to. We have a space of about two inches under our front door through which the freezing air comes through at night.





The walls are paper thin. Expect to hear neighbor?s conversations, TVs, and yes, even snoring. (It?s really bad.) When one of our neighbors leaves his or her apartment, it sounds like they are slamming our bedroom door! You can even hear the fan in other bathrooms.


They are constently looking to fill the many empty apartments. From what I understand, the "Now Renting" sign is up year round.





As soon as our lease is up-we?re OUT OF HERE! We hope to see some of our $450 security deposit. We?ve heard rumors that they are reluctant to return it. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk
