Beach Cove Apartments

A Few Complaints From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/10/2002 Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2002   I have to agree, when you are looking for an apartment, Beach Cove staff could make you believe it's heaven. And I can agreee, that when you've signed the lease & paid, they dont want to hear or see you again. I searched a lot of places to live and no one was as friendly (& as unfriendly)as these people. We had some small problems from the start that just keep adding up. Keep in mind we've only been here for 4 months. First, the man who helped us told us everything about the apartment. Next time we went, he wasn't there and another staff had to tell us yet the real truth. & the third time, the asst. manager had to explain the real real truth. These werent major issues but it sucks not knowing who to believe. They really make it up to be something it's not. Resort Style Living w/swimming pools, free tennis lessons, free jazzersice classes, BBQ area and volleyball net, covered parking, pool & ping pong tables, etc.. And it is a nice place overall. I feel safe walking here at night and I do so all the time. So far our heater has turned on all by itself and we could not turn it off for 1/2 of a 80degree day. It was 24 hours before someone came to replace it. (we fixed it our own way) The bathtub fills up when you are taking a shower. Our sink constantly leaks. Everything is white in here so it sucks to clean. I have heard horror stories about deposit money. Luckily because I am teacher I only Pd. $225. The dryers never dry my clothes so I hang my clothes on my balcony(not hanging over) and someon from the office came over & asked me to remove them.There are no windows in the bathroom, so your entire house steams up after your shower. I would have to say that it is very quiet where I am near the street. I do also see a huge number of vacant apartments here. I do overall like the neighborhood & even the apartment. I have not luckily had any ant problems so far. I would have to say this place is decent and nice to live in. Rent is not so bad but the staff do need some help.
