Beach Cove Apartments

Don't Move Here From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/11/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   My lease recently expired and no way did I even think about renewing. I have to agree with what most people have said about unfriendly management, lack of amenities,etc. Although I will admit, I didn't have any problems with noisy neighbors but I think the guy that lived in the unit on one side was always traveling and the unit on the other side was vacant about 70% of the time I was there. I did hear the guy upstairs walking around all of the time. When I moved in, they told me they were like at 99% capacity and only 3 or 4 units were available. Once I got there, I saw empty units everywhere. The appliances and overall look and feel of the apartment is very cheap and very different from the showroom unit. When I moved in, the front desk people were cool except for some chick who came out after I had signed everything. She basically acted like she didn't want me staying there, wouldn't look me in the eye, but this was after I had signed. I bumped into her a couple of times at the complex and politely spoke, she didn't even acknowledge me. That let me know what management thought of their tenants, extremely rude. There were a couple of cool guys that used to work the front desk but I haven't seen them in months and the new guys just seemed lost. No amenities whatsoever. The workout equipment is always broken. It's really only a treadmill, stairclimber and half of a weight machine. Everything is always broken. The pool looks nasty. They recently came up with a new way to get money by making you purchase some key fob thing for the laundry room. It's ridiculous for the amount of money you pay. The complex itself is in a really nice neighborhood, really friendly, but the Beach Cove sucks big time.
