Foster's Landing sits right by a series of power lines, so you can take your chances based on how you feel about that. The grounds are fairly nice -- lots of trees, basketball/volleyball court, outdoor swimming pools & hot tub, plenty of parking for visitors. Top floor units have cathedral ceilings and lots of light. Walk in closets. Washer and dryer in unit, with dishwasher in the kitchen. Balconies for most (if not all) apartments. Not a lot of character, but new and modern. Rental office is open on weekends and most holidays and are always friendly. The area itself is pretty sleepy, but close enough to San Mateo to get a bit of a "downtown". Also close to the 92 and 101. Rent seems a bit on the high side right now, lots of vacancies because of it.
