Everything looked nice at first, but once we moved in - things went from bad to worse.

* They lease apartments to Section 8 & former criminals, I'm convinced. Let's just say a BIG WHITE VAN comes and picks them all up every few days. The apartment next to me usually has 5-6 sketchy guys either smoking, cursing, or fighting. Always fighting. It's really scary to be a woman and have to walk past a bunch of cursing, drunk, mad guys at night. It's like one big halfway house. One time, one of tenants wanted to come into my apartment and talk to me!
* People here are so loud! I can't count the times I've heard loud parties going on until 2am. Loud loud loud, rude people on their porches with music, screaming/laughing, etc.
* Not safe. Aside from constant fighting, I heard a gunshot the other night. Also, I was awoken last month to a police raid. Police raided an apartment in my complex, and busted down the door. Apparently the tenant had kidnapped a baby. What the HECK!
* Rent is ridiculously high
* Our apartment had major water leaks coming from the ceiling, and it took 2 months for them to fix it. And they didn't fix it - they just spray painted over them!
* When we moved in, the apartment wasn't totally clean. We had to call them to come clean the windows, which had about 75 pieces of tape on them.
* Super thin walls. When neighbors shower in the morning, it's so loud I can't go back to sleep.
* Our neighbors moved out recently, and told us they got royally screwed on cleaning fees/deposit, despite having kept their apartment pristine.

The only good things I have to say are:
* Parking is great. Lots of parking.
* Washer and dryer in unit
* Grounds are well-maintained, with nice landscaping.
* Vaulted ceilings on 2nd floor units are a nice touch
* Maintenance/repair is usually done quickly, with the exception of our leaky roof.

For what they charge, I would spend my money somewhere else. If you're a woman, seriously consider not renting here. It may look pretty, but you will be surrounded by scary ex cons, and really aggressive, alcoholic, smoking men who hang out in groups. I've been accosted more than once.

If you can put up with the dodgy guys and noise, then you could enjoy living here.
