We are Ok living here at Foster's Landing...for now. The grounds are kept up wonderfully but getting maintenance done timely and getting someone who speaks fluent English (to truly understand the problem) is not going well at all!! With the bad storm, we had leakage and...well, its still a problem because the men who came can't speak English well and have to wait for someone else. I've had a couple other maintenance requests that have been forgotten, or they look at the wrong spot. The apartment itself isn't too bad. We have an 'updated' unit so it looks good still vs. our next door neighbor who's place is more than ready for that 'update'. The price isn't too bad for here, I have seen better. Oh yeah, there's also break-ins frequently. I've personally known of two - one was someone's garage; the other was a car-theft attempt - in the 4 months we've lived here! Overall, I feel as though management is more concerned with the outer appearance of this place than the units and/or the residents.

You have legal recourse with the health department, or right to break the lease if the problem is not corrected. I would start documenting all requests for repairs, and state the number of times requested. You will be amazed at how quickly a letter will get them hopping.

Thanks for the info. Speaking of the health department - someone just posted a review regarding black mold! ewww
