Pretty good place to live.

I had only looked at apartment complexes that allowed pets and had washer/dryer in the unit, so there was only a handful of places in Foster City and Foster's Landing was by far the best place out of the 4 I looked at. The apartments are updated, with brand new black appliances, new cabinets that don't look like the usual cheap apartment cabinets that are white laminate with oak trim, with new laminate counters that look like like granite.
I like that it doesn't feel like a dorm type apartment where you enter through a long hallway of doors. I also like that my second floor apartment has vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. I never hear any of my neighbors when I'm inside, maybe I just have very quiet neighbors. There's always plenty of visitors parking and it's nice to have two little gyms and 3 pools and saunas as well as tennis and basketball courts. I really don't have too many complaints. Maintenance fixes any problems within 24 hrs and usually the same day I enter my maintenance request online. My complaints are very minor...they always run out of doggie bags at the handful of poop stations and when my downstairs neighbor would smoke in the bathroom, vent would come up through my vent and it would smell like cigarette smoke in my bathroom. All in all, I'm planning on staying here until I get my own place. My rent only increased by $39 this year.
