My rent was raised $300 a few months ago (way too much for this dump) and now I'm stunned to see an ad on Craigslist for a "remodeled unit" that has wood cabinets (which this place should have had years ago anyway) and stainless steel appliances (big deal - still no granite counter tops like most high-end places here). Now they are trying to charge $1765 for an apartment that was overpriced at $1520 a week ago. Don't bother -- you can get a place that has an indoor washer and dryer for that (or just slightly more). You can do better than paying luxury prices for this dump.
