People are always willing to complain about everything.This place is not so bad.Everytime i have a problem with anything it would be resolved straight away.If you are not happy then you should leave ,why complain'.Maybe it is you who is not happy, not Harbor Cove.GIVE ME A BREAK .............

You see this is exactly what I thought before I moved here:
1. complainers are more likely to write a review because they want to vent
2. the people who write these reviews are old and grumpy and do not have anything better to do in life then sit at home and complain about everything.
And yes I was unhappy and I did leave. Honestly if you think this place isn't so bad, I don't even want to imagine what you are comparing it to, I'll try to stay PC here.
Having said that I do agree that maintenance problems get resolved quickly here.

The complaints are the markets way of evaluating the value. Whether they stay or leave is their problem - if they think the horror cove is crappy, no amount of yelling will change that.
As the above response mentions, people are more likely to review when they are unhappy than otherwise. There will be some people who will be accommodating and they might feel this place is OK; they might not bother to comment. The whole point of reading these comments is to find out what really ticked off these people. Why do you care? Because you might not be really accommodating when you find the roaches staring at you everytime you turn on the kitchen lights.
In fact, by writing these reviews, the authors are doing us all a favor. To characterize them as old and grumpy is very simplistic thinking. Would you rather have no reviews at all and find out first hand how much a place sucks? It is these through these kind of reviews that one finds out how much American cars suck, for example. This in turn gives you more value for your money. The money saved is what you use to buy the electronics, eat out, and pay for the internet. So think hard the next time you complain about negative reviews.
