I rented from Harbor Cove about 7 or 8 years ago when I was working at Oracle. At the time, there was different management and they were so cool. Gloria was the manager's name and she was very on top of things. The place was well-maintained and a wonderful place to rent. I'm back to Foster City now and, after reading these reviews, I would never rent here. What a pity! Actually, I remember when Gloria left, some management company came in and fired everyone. Too bad because it seems like Harbor Cove's reputation went down the crapper. Also, if you are thinking of renting here, check with the local police. From what I last heard, there are a good deal of car break-ins. That happened only occasionally when I was there and Gloria hired a security guard to watch over the parking lots in the evenings. I imagine that's not the case now.

Hi there! Welcome back to the area! I'm so sorry you feel that way! I am the Property Manager at Harbor Cove. I understand your concerns--it is never easy for everyone when a property changes management companies. Every company has different processes and policies that we all have to get accustomed to. I also understand your concerns over reading some of the previous residents' entries, but I hope that you don't base your final choices only on what this website says and just because the company changed. The website is a great forum, but there are always two sides to any story. As a property management company, we uphold Fair Housing practices and treat our future, current and past residents fairly and without prejudgment. We would hope that anyone looking for a new home would do the same with us. We are all excited with an upcoming renovation project and encourage you to at least come by to meet with our current team so that we can show you what we and Harbor Cove have to offer you again! Hello Janie, Thank you for responding to this post. I am a long-time renter of Harbor Cove and would like to know when the lock on Bldg. 744's front door will be fixed. It has been broken for a few months.
