THe apartment complex is very cheaply made and operated and they still charge you an arm and a leg for it. The carpets are very inexpensive, the walls are very thin(we can hear our neighbors all of the time). The kitchens are very small and they are not good at replacing sppliances when they get old. Within our first 2 months there we replaced both the dishwasher and the washer/dryer. They were very good about doing so however with both appliances the maintenance workers commented that they were surprised that the appliances were as old as they were. When we moved in there was a lot of damage to the cabinentry and to the front door. The lock on one of the windows was inopperative. The molding around all of the doors is coming off. We have a first floor apatment and the drainage on the apartment above us isn't very good so when the storms came a big water spot appeared on our living room ceiling. These are all small complaints however we have lived here less than a year and the fact that things are falling apart already tells me that the apartment complex does extreme cost cutting when it comes to maintenence. I think that for what we are paying(which is even high for this area)we should get a little bit more quality.So far the maintenence guys are great. They are extremely nice and really go out of there way to help you out. The management has been nice so far although I don't expect them to be so when we move out. Parking is fine. Some of the neighbors have a tendency to park in your assigned space or in front of it when they are moving, but that's not the apartment complexes fault. The location is great. It's right on the jogging path and overlooks the estuary to the bay. The landscaping is very good. For the most part the people that live here are extremely nice.
