The management team at Lantern Cove is unbelievably shady. They try to jack you for money and the lady who's there on Saturday is completely useless. We went to look at a unit on a Saturday and the lady couldn't answer any questions for us...she was only capable of opening the model unit for us to look at but couldn't tell us any details we had questions about. With this property management team, get everything in writing. They "fail" to tell you the details of their "verbal policies" until much later, so be sure to question it! Remember, unless you sign something that states a policy, then you hold no obligations to them.
We looked at an actual unit and I cannot begin to tell you how old these places look. Don't get me wrong, the model was great, but the actual live in units are gross. The unit we looked at was supposedly clean but when we looked at it, there was some kind of ant problem near the windows and the appliances were old. The walls looked like they had been painted over so many times that the original wall was probably like 2 inches of paint deep. The grounds were not kept up and it just didn't feel clean. They do not hire landscapers or something because there was tree debris everywhere and the plants and grass were not kept up.
I wouldn't recommend living here. Not just because the units are old, but because the management staff is unprofessional. They straight up lie to your face and then try to sweet talk you into living there.
Also, we went by one weekend and a juvenile deliquency facility had their bus parked in the parking lot and there were all these kids hanging out in the parking lot. That doesn't sound all that safe to me.
