One of the very few places that accepts dogs of all sizes.
The lake and fountains on the property are very soothing, just make sure that your car is not downwind of them. My daughter loved to watch the ducks and geese that frequented the lake.
One of the bay jogging/bike trails runs along the backside of the property.
Someone else mentioned that the area was "dead", but I prefered it because Foster City is one of the safest places to live in the Bay Area.
Yes, they require you to have renter's insurance, but it covers YOUR property. A pipe to the water heater in our unit broke. They repaired it and sent in a company to clean and dry the carpet at no cost to us and no charge to our insurance. The insurance would have covered OUR belongings if any had been damaged by the water (which they fortunately had not).
The only reason we moved was because my husband was transferred to another city by his job.
