Looks are deceiving

Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
I have to say I've had nothing but problems here from the time I applied, to moving day and even currently. I've have been living here 6 months and would like everybody to know that these places look nice, yes, but watch out. My application took over a month to go thru and I had to call the main property management company to get an update because nobody in the office onsite calls you back. Moving day I had to wait an hour to get my key, with my truck full of belongings! The key by the way didn't work - another 45 mins to straighten that out. Washer and dryer didn't work properly and that took at least 3 months to resolve. The first time I used the dishwasher it didn't work and all the water leaked under the sink and cabinets causing wet wood which still smells today. The oven didn't work - the patio smelled like pet urine. I could go on but you should get the point. Now to the noise - you hear every airplane getting ready to land at SFO at all times of day and night. If you aren't on the upstairs unit you can hear every step and movement your upstairs neighbors make...even in the bathroom! If you ever complain to management onsite it takes months for anything to happen if anything. And finally I was told this was a nonsmoking complex, but those who rented before the year 2009 can still smoke. Needless to say all of my neighbors smoke and it comes in all of my windows. So DON T believe that this is a nonsmoking complex. I would never rent here again.
