Great place to live - but careful when collecting sevurity deposit while leaving

This was a great place to live - good facilities but we had a serious problem while leaving regarding the security deposit.
We cleaned the apartment well (spent about 1 day to clean thoroughly) before we gave the keys back. Apart from a bleach stain on the carpet we left it ---- and span. Imagine our surprise when we received the security deposit refund - they sent us back $160 out of the $400. The invoice stated that they had to extensively clean the place, clean the carpet at one spot where it had been bleached and replace the carpet. Repeated calls to the management - we were put on hold for hours together and then all of a sudden the call would be disconnectd. Finally we threatened to take them to small claims court and then we received $120 more. By this time we were too tired of the whole process of getting a good answer from them and left it at that.
So if you live here or plan to live here - remember - BE CAREFUL when trying to collect the security deposit.
