I have lived in apartments all over bay area. I dont say that i have not faced any problem with the noise. staying upstairs has its advantages.

so i took apartment upstairs in sand coves. I have stayed here for over a year and luckily had good neighbours who cared about others.

But since one month i havent been able to sleep because the people who recently moved downstairs are ass holes of order one. They bang doors till 2 am every night. i knocked on the wall once to let them know that they are disturbing . They did stop it that day but every night its the same thing. i havent knocked again.

now i have a choice. to call the cops or i talk to the manager. seems like the administration is least bothered as it is evident from other posts.

If i call the cops then its a bad name to the apartment complex and a bit harsh treatment. now what to do in such situations.

no i better not hear that wear ear muffs because they dont help.

i m lucky to find this forum where i can vent and let others know about the problems faced here.

stay away if you can afford good new complexes like avalon and waters edge.

the management is more responsible there as they used to call up the neighbours to tell them that pls cut the noise and it helped. just one phone call did the trick.
