The price is so high, just not worthy

I have lived here more than a year.
Recently I tried to renew my lease and was told that
the rent was increased by more than 200 dollars.
The old price is ok, aka acceptable;
The new price' too high and not worthy.
Will move out to other apts newer and with reasonable rent.

To the resident of the previous posting... I've been a resident at Sand Cove Apartments for over 15 years and have loved every minute of it. As a long-time renter I understand that rents do usually increase. Yeah, I'd rather not pay a higher rent - but I do love where I live. So, TRY finding a better place with THIS view at a lower price. Won't happen. Also, the ONLY thing that I dislike about living here are the people who move here hoping to bargain and not fully understanding the lifestayle of living on the waterin Foster City. I'm sure the other long-term residents will agree with me... if you can't afford it - move out.

I agree to the response above. Rent increase is the sole discretion of the management even if you think they are blood suckers or day-light robbers. But I feel that shouldnt color your review to the extent that you rate everything from parking to construction 2/5. I appreciate the fact that you want to let others know that they may have to move out after their lease is up due to the steep increases but let us know how you felt the apt was to live when you were there. That would be more helpful. Whether someone thinks that experience is worth the price is his decision.

The comments in response the the tenant were most likely made by the managment company. These apartments are in bad need of repair and you do not get what you pay for!

Thanks for the honest review. Most of the Woodmont managed properties in FC area had increased their rent from $100-300 just this year and it's good for other viewers to know what they are facing financially before they send in their security deposit checks. Thanks again.
