Deceptive Management Practices

The complex engages in deceptive and arbitrary business practices. For example, they did not provide me a copy of the lease until AFTER I signed a "term sheet" that references the lease. That is, they shove a paper for you to sign without letting you know what you are signing until after the fact. In addition, although they have garage door openers, they did not tell me in advance that these openers do not have remote controls until after the term sheet has been signed.
Incredibly, they state that they do not allow tenants to install and maintain garage door openers at their own expense. Their reasons: (1) Garage door openers are loud and disturb the tenant using the opener; and (2) garage door openers tend to break garage doors!
