During our time living here, we often saw signs posted threatening us with fines if we allowed our trash cans to be visible any day except on trash pickup day. OK, we abided and never got fined.
When we moved out, we put all our trash in leaf bags and stacked the bags at the grassy island that was trash pickup station. But then we remembered the warnings about not leaving trash exposed on non-pickup days. Wanting to avoid a fine, we brought the leaf bags back inside the garage. We guessed wrong. Management fined us $75.00 for the 5 minutes it took for them to carry the leaf bags back out to the pickup station. Gouge, gouge, gouge - that's their creed. Expect little tricks like this if you live here.
