The bad reviews are true.
20% annual rent increases are the norm.
Please just avoid this place and select one with better reviews.

There are a lot of bad reviews on this site but I don't think they are all true. I've never had a problem with the staff here. Granted the apartments are older and outdated, but given the garage and size of the apartment and location, you get a lot for your money

Agree, somebody got really pissed off at Schooner Bay. :) Yes, it's old, yes, Foster City is expensive, yes, 20% lease increase is normal for every apartment complex in the area.
