I recently transferred apartments and they tried to hit me with all these extra fees. Had to fight with managemnt for several days. If I didn't own a dog I would not live here.

You know there are plenty other places that you can go that accept dogs. I understand what you are talking about but being in property management now for 10 years has allowed me to find other places that won't charge you the way that you were. I know, I used to live there as well. peoplewithpets.com is a wonderful resource as well as going to apartments.com and using the search that you can choose to only pull up apartments that accept dogs.
